Avaya NES Implementation & Professional Services Rate Change Partner Notification

 TO: Asia Pacific (APAC) contracted Avaya resellers and Global Solutions Partners authorized by Avaya to resell products and services offered for sale by Avaya (collectively referred to herein as “Partner”); and, distribution partners authorized by Avaya to resell to Partners products and services offered for sale by Avaya (referred to herein as “Distributors”).

Avaya NES Professional Services Title and Rate Change Partner Notification

Avaya Global Services is providing this notification to announce a global price change to Professional Services supporting the installation and integration of Avaya NES (Nortel Enterprise Solutions) products and applications effective April 19, 2010 and May 1, 2010, as applicable and described further in the attachment.


Details
In an effort to better serve our Partners and Customers, Avaya offers a comprehensive portfolio of enhanced Professional Services consisting of advanced advisory, configuration, and integration services. Avaya will offer two services to help Partners in their efforts to win new business by leveraging Avaya expertise in the planning, assessment and design phase of customer engagement. The Business Communication Advisory Service and Technical Advisory Service will be offered in simplified bundles.
To help simplify doing business with partners, Avaya is consolidating and integrating the current NES Implementation Services delivery resources into the current Avaya Professional Service resource pool. This will allow Avaya Services to support its Partners and customers with one consistent company rate structure which aligns with current market conditions. This will result in price changes to the existing NES pricing tools and fixed priced offers that contain NES service titles and rates in support of the installation and integration of NES products. Through Avaya Professional Services, Avaya Partners and customers will now have access to the industry’s best resources in a simplified and consistent rate structure.
The NES pricing tools used for Custom/Configured service quotes will reflect this rate change effective April 19, 2010. The NES Global Product & Price Catalog as well as online quote tools used for fixed priced offers will reflect this change effective May 1, 2010.
All pricing requested after the respective effective dates will reflect this new pricing and rate structure. Quotes processed before the effective dates will be honored for the latter of a 60 day period from the original quote date, or for the quote validity duration stated on the proposal. This price change does not impact current Avaya Non-NES Professional Service rates or pricing.


Avaya NES Implementation Title and Rate Change Partner Notification
Avaya Global Services is providing this price change notification to announce a global price increase to Implementation Services supporting the installation of Avaya Nortel Enterprise Solutions (“NES”) products and applications effective April 19, 2010 and May 1, 2010, as applicable and described further in the attachment.

In an effort to better serve our Partners and Customers, Avaya will be consolidating and integrating the current NES Implementation Services resource titles and associated rates into the current Avaya Implementation Service resource titles and associated rates. This consolidation and integration is a part of the Avaya Services Roadmap and will allow Avaya Services to support its customers and Partners with one consistent company rate structure for Implementation Service pricing. This consolidation and integration also aligns with the strategy executed with the Avaya implementation titles and rates in the summer of 2009, which helped to enable Partners in the attempt to reduce the dependency on Avaya for core Implementation “rack and stack” support to help Partners in their efforts to increase market share and enable Partner delivery. This will result in a price change to the existing NES pricing tools and fixed priced offers that contain these titles and rates in support of the installation of NES products. The existing NES pricing tools used for Custom/Configured service quotes will reflect this change effective April 19, 2010. The Global Product & Price Catalog as well as online quote tools used for fixed priced offers will reflect this change effective May 1, 2010.
